Head of Digital Value Chain Optimisation Centre (m/f/d)

Here's what you can look forward to:
As Head of the Digital Value Chain Optimi­sation Centre (m/f/d), you will lead the trans­formation of how data and digital tools drive our supply chain perfor­mance. You will set the strate­gic direction, manage a high-performing team, and ensure that our digital twin and analy­tics solu­tions deliver measu­rable value across the busi­ness. In this senior leader­ship role, you will act as the bridge between Supply Optimi­sation, Data & Analytics, and Commer­cial functions, sha­ping the future of our digi­tal value chain.
You will report to a senior execu­tive func­tion and be inte­grated closely with cross-func­tional stake­holders. Your work will contri­bute directly to enhancing the efficiency, trans­parency, and resi­lience of our supply chain and logistics opera­tions – while enabling data-driven decision-making at scale.

• Set the Vision: You define and exe­cute the strate­gic roadmap for digital value chain optimi­sation.
• Lead the Team: You lead, manage, and develop a team of senior and junior analysts within the Digi­tal Value Chain Optimisation Centre.
• Implement the Digital Twin: You over­see the roll­out and inte­gration of digital twin techno­logy in the value chain.
• Drive Value from Data: You ensure that data and analytics generate actionable busi­ness insights that support supply and logistics optimisation.
• Build Bridges: You act as a central inter­face between Supply Optimi­sation, Data & Analytics, and other enabling functions.
• Enhance Capabilities: You develop and imple­ment approaches to strengthen the organi­sation's optimi­sation capa­bilities.
• Align Strategies: You secure alignment between analytics acti­vities and broader commer­cial and business strategies.
• Inform Decisions: You guide supply optimisation with clear recommen­dations to unlock optimi­sation potential.
• Foster Culture: You build a culture of data-driven decision-making, collabo­ration, and conti­nuous improve­ment.

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record in supply chain, value chain optimi­sation, or data-driven busi­ness trans­formation
• Strategic and Commercial Acumen: Strong strate­gic mindset with deep under­standing of trading, supply, and logistics
• Data and Digital Expertise: Advanced knowledge in data analytics, digit­al tools, and optimisation methodologies
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated capabilities in managing and deve­loping high-perfor­ming teams
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communi­cation, influencing, and relationship-buil­ding skills at senior levels
• Innovation and Techno­logy: Familiarity with digital twin technologies, advanced simu­lation, or AI-driven optimisation is a strong advantage
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Marked focus on innovation, continuous improve­ment, and deli­vering business impact
• Language Skills: Fluent in English to collaborate effectively in an inter­national environ­ment; German is a big plus
