Senior Value Chain Data Analyst (m/f/d)

Here's what you can look forward to:
As a Senior Value Chain Data Analyst (m/f/d), you will take the lead in shaping how data drives our supply chain optimi­sation. You will act as the key bridge between the Supply Optimi­sation unit and the Data & Analy­tics team, driving the develop­ment of our digi­tal twin of the value chain, delivering actionable insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organi­sation.
You will work in a colla­borative and cross-functional environment, contri­buting significantly to strategic and opera­tional deci­sions through high-quality analytics. Your work will have a direct impact on supply chain effi­ciency, profi­tability, and our ability to adapt in an evol­ving energy land­scape.


  • Develop the Digital Twin: You lead collaboration with the Data & Analy­tics Team in designing, developing, and conti­nuously enhan­cing the digi­tal twin of the value chain.
  • Deliver Insights: You analyse complex data sets to identify optimi­sation oppor­tunities, measure perfor­mance, and fore­cast future scenarios.
  • Optimise Supply Chains: You lead integrated supply chain optimi­sation and develop actionable recommen­dations to maxi­mise value across supply and logistics.
  • Translate Business Needs: You act as the primary data liaison for the Supply Optimisation unit, ensuring busi­ness require­ments are translated into effective analytics deliverables.
  • Drive Decision-making: You enable data-driven decision-making across the unit by delivering high-quality insights and strate­gic recommen­dations.
  • Align Strategies: You ensure that the data and analy­tics strategy sup­ports broader business and optimisation goals.
  • Mentor and Grow: You mentor junior analysts and pro­mote a culture of lear­ning, innovation, and data excellence.
  • Innovate Solutions: You propose and lead the implemen­tation of inno­vative analy­tics approaches to improve value chain perfor­mance.
  • Act Entrepreneurially: You take owner­ship of your work, think ahead, and ope­rate with a business-first mindset.

  • Data and Analytics Expertise: Exten­sive experience in data analysis, modelling, and busi­ness intelli­gence
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in analytics tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Innovation and Technology: Expe­rience with digital twin models or advanced simu­lation tools is a strong advantage
  • Solution Design: Proven ability to trans­late busi­ness needs into robust analy­tics solu­tions
  • Commercial Understanding: Expe­rience in value chain and supply optimi­sation with strong business awareness
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to link analytics insights directly to busi­ness value and decision-making
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English to colla­borate effectively in an inter­national environ­ment; German is a big plus
