Senior Value Chain Data Analyst (m/f/d)

As a Senior Value Chain Data Analyst (m/f/d), you will take the lead in shaping how data drives our supply chain optimisation. You will act as the key bridge between the Supply Optimisation unit and the Data & Analytics team, driving the development of our digital twin of the value chain, delivering actionable insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
You will work in a collaborative and cross-functional environment, contributing significantly to strategic and operational decisions through high-quality analytics. Your work will have a direct impact on supply chain efficiency, profitability, and our ability to adapt in an evolving energy landscape.
- Develop the Digital Twin: You lead collaboration with the Data & Analytics Team in designing, developing, and continuously enhancing the digital twin of the value chain.
- Deliver Insights: You analyse complex data sets to identify optimisation opportunities, measure performance, and forecast future scenarios.
- Optimise Supply Chains: You lead integrated supply chain optimisation and develop actionable recommendations to maximise value across supply and logistics.
- Translate Business Needs: You act as the primary data liaison for the Supply Optimisation unit, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective analytics deliverables.
- Drive Decision-making: You enable data-driven decision-making across the unit by delivering high-quality insights and strategic recommendations.
- Align Strategies: You ensure that the data and analytics strategy supports broader business and optimisation goals.
- Mentor and Grow: You mentor junior analysts and promote a culture of learning, innovation, and data excellence.
- Innovate Solutions: You propose and lead the implementation of innovative analytics approaches to improve value chain performance.
- Act Entrepreneurially: You take ownership of your work, think ahead, and operate with a business-first mindset.
- Data and Analytics Expertise: Extensive experience in data analysis, modelling, and business intelligence
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in analytics tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
- Innovation and Technology: Experience with digital twin models or advanced simulation tools is a strong advantage
- Solution Design: Proven ability to translate business needs into robust analytics solutions
- Commercial Understanding: Experience in value chain and supply optimisation with strong business awareness
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to link analytics insights directly to business value and decision-making
- Language Skills: Fluent in English to collaborate effectively in an international environment; German is a big plus
