Junior Value Chain Data Analyst (m/f/d)

Here's what you can look forward to:
As a Junior Value Chain Data Analyst (m/f/d), you will gain hands-on experience in trans­forming supply chain data into real busi­ness impact. Wor­king closely with the Supply Optimi­sation unit and the Data & Analytics team, you will sup­port the develop­ment of our digital twin of the value chain and contribute to delivering the in­sights that shape opera­tional and strate­gic optimi­sation decisions.
This is an ideal role for early-career profes­sionals eager to grow in a fast-paced, data-driven environ­ment at the inter­face of commer­cial opera­tions and advanced analytics.


  • Support Digital Twin Development: You contribute to the development and mainte­nance of the digital twin of the value chain in colla­boration with the Data & Analy­tics team.
  • Prepare and Analyse Data: You clean, structure, and analyse datasets to pro­vide relevant information to the Supply Optimisation teams.
  • Deliver Insights: You support the creation of stan­dard re­ports and dash­boards that track key perfor­mance metrics.
  • Gather Requirements: You collect feedback from Supply Optimi­sation depart­ments on their data needs and commu­ni­cate them effectively to the Data & Analy­tics team.
  • Test New Ideas: You help identify optimisation oppor­tunities and sup­port the testing of new analytical approaches.
  • Improve Data Quality: You drive conti­nuous improve­ment of data quality, ensuring the availability of accurate and reliable information for busi­ness use.

  • Experience: First prac­tical or academic exposure to commercial, data, or analy­tics roles
  • Technical Foundations: Basic knowledge of tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Interest: Curiosity about supply chains and value chain optimi­sation is desirable
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English to colla­borate effectively in an inter­national environ­ment; German is a big plus
