Here's what you can look forward to As Chapter Lead, you will be the disciplinary leader of the chapter, focusing on coaching and the development of your team members and the recruitment of new chapter members. You define standards, guidelines and best practices for the chapter and are responsible for the design and development of the chapter identity. Define and maintain manufacturing process standards and technology including automatization and (automated) testing in accordance with ista's strategic and technology roadmap. Define the target competence profiles of your chapter members in accordance with ista's strategic and technology roadmap and continuously improve the skillset of your team towards this profile. In coordination with the Tribe Lead, you will staff the squads and work closely with Product Owners and Tribe Leads to identify the best way of achieving the business goals. You exemplify an innovative mindset and act as a technical coach for chapter members. You actively contribute your expertise in manufacturing engineering for electronic devices and quality assurance and work in one of the squads up to 50% of your working time. You define standards, processes and reportings for the management of (EMS) partners. What we require of you Your experience in leading teams is characterized by a coach-oriented leadership style. With your strong communication skills, you manage to win others over and inspire them - across all hierarchical levels. You can rely on excellent knowledge of manufacturing engineering for electro-mechanical devices, manufacturing processes and machinery / tools developed during a minimum of 5 years of professional industry experience. You have good understanding of simultaneous device development processes, verification and validation of new design and testing of high-volume production embedded hardware. You can provide guidance for implementation of manufacturing and manufacturing test processes, manufacturing automation and for life cycle management of embedded devices. You are aware of electronics manufacturing technology, related test and measurement technology and technology trends in these fields. You have strong analytical skills, a high willingness to learn and change and, ideally, first experience of agile working culture in an engineering environment. Your pragmatic and risk-aware working style reflects the important technical responsibility of your chapter.
