  • As part of the Sales Zone team, you develop sales according to our Go-to-Market strategy and implement a sustainable and efficient customer management approach with responsibility for the entire sales budget (Direct & Indirect) in the assigned territory based on zip codes.
  • You primarily focus on acquiring new clients and generating leads remotely to achieve better coverage of mid-to-low density territories, while managing existing customer relationships, including those with mid-to-low potential.
  • You interact mostly remotely with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • You identify potential customers through research and analysis and reach out to potential customers who have not previously expressed interest in the company's products or services via outbound cold calls and emails.
  • You use CRM software to keep track of interactions, sales activities, and customer information, and regularly follow up with leads and existing customers to nurture relationships.
  • You thoroughly understand the products or services being sold to effectively communicate their benefits and features and customize sales pitches to address the specific needs and pain points of the customer.
  • You collaborate with other sales team members, marketing, and customer service to achieve sales goals and prepare sales reports to provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and sales performance.
  • You ensure customer satisfaction post-sale and identify opportunities to sell additional products or services to existing customers, fostering long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.


  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a related subject, preferably with a focus on Life Sciences.
  • You have demonstrated sales record successes and have built sustainable customer relationships.
  • You possess initial experience in selling laboratory products (biotechnology) or have experience in laboratory operations, ideally for three years.
  • You have a customer-centric mindset.
  • You exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in German and French being a plus.
  • You are familiar with MS Office and other systems such as ERP/SAP, Abacus, and Excel.
  • You have a sense of discretion, reliability, and networking.
  • You demonstrate strong organizational skills and have an independent and structured working style.
