With a fleet of 308 modern container ships and a Vessel Capacity of 2.4 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity of 3.7 million TEU including one of the world's largest and most modern reefer container fleets, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. In the Liner Shipping segment, the Company has around 17,100 employees and more than 400 offices in 140 countries. Hapag-Lloyd has a transport volume of 12.5 million TEU per year. A total of 135 liner services worldwide ensure fast and reliable connections between more than 600 ports across the world. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 21 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.
- Support initiatives led by the IT Office that drive technological and organizational transformation across the global IT organization (e.g., IT Operating Model Transformation)
- Support strategic IT Projects
- Assist the IT Office in preparing board packages for the Hapag Lloyd IT boards and ensure content quality
- Collaborate with IT departments and central controlling to support the annual department submission
- Assist with monthly performance management cycles for financials and strategy progression (e.g., Strategy 2030 and IT Operating Model Transformation)
- Support communication and stakeholder engagement across the entire Hapag-Lloyd organization
- Bachelor's or Master's studies in Business Administration, Information Technology, Logistics or a related field
- Can-do mentality
- Verbal communication skills, capable of liaising with internal and external stakeholders effectively
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Understanding of project management principles and tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- First experience in Logistics, IT or technology-driven environment is a plus
- First Knowledge of IT budgeting and cost control is a plus
- Project Management experience is a plus
- First experience of working in large and international organizations is a plus
- Fluent in English, German is a benefit
