Working Student – IT Security (m/f/d)

As a Working Student in IT Security, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our bank's digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems. You will collaborate with our security team to protect against cyber threats, manage vulnerabilities, and maintain compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you have the opportunity to assist in various IT-related tasks for Business and IT Continuity Management.


  • You will support the implementation and ongoing assurance of IT services by assessing the supplier's security posture against the Lloyds bank's security and operational resilience requirements. Among other things, you will learn about the regulatory requirements that apply to financial institutions, such as MaRisk or DORA.
  • You will support in managing IT risks. You will gain insight into how IT risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated.
  • Together with the team, you will assist in business and IT continuity management. You will gain insights into the bank's processes, assist in assessing its criticality, and support the development and implementation of contingency plans, including testing.
  • You will be involved in internal and external audits and gain insights into how companies are audited and developed.

  • Currently enrolled as Bachelor- or Master student (e.g. Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Engineering, Business/ IT Consulting, Business Law or a related field)
  • Keen interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn and grow in this field
  • You have strong communication skills and are confident in interacting with different stakeholders
  • You think analytically and prefer working in a structured manner
  • MS office experience (Outlook, PowerPoint), Jira / Confluence skills are a plus
  • You have very good English skills and base German skills
