Your Role
Do you love numbers and want to actively shape the financial strategy? As a Financial Controller (m/f/d), you will be responsible for accurate financial statements, cash flow analyses, and the development of efficient financial processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for SBS GmbH and the Dutch subsidiary SBS BV
- Ensure accurate financial accounting and compliance with all reporting requirements under IFRS and local standards
- Preparation of regular cash flow analyses and forecasts
- VAT reporting to tax authorities
- Collaboration with external auditors and the corporate headquarters for audited financial statements
- Execution of annual budget planning, financial analyses, and feasibility studies to support strategic decisions
- Monitoring of corporate governance guidelines and financial processes
Your Profile
- Degree in business administration with a focus on controlling/accounting or commercial training with further qualification as a controller (m/f/d)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling, including 3 years in a responsible position in an international industrial environment
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, local accounting principles, and audits
- Extensive experience in German tax law and group reporting
- Ideally a qualification such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
- A strong analytical and structured working style, combined with high initiative and team orientation
- Empathetic communication skills to clearly convey ideas and build trusting relationships with stakeholders
- Resilient and able to deliver excellent results even under time pressure in a dynamic environment
