GSP Europe GmbH, based in Hürth near Cologne, is part of the GSP Automotive Group with headquarters in China. The almost 2,500 employees worldwide manufacture and sell high-quality products in the automotive aftermarket. Our largest market is Europe. We only supply importers and wholesalers for the European repair market. Deliveries are made from Asia and from our warehouses in Germany and Poland.
Director Global Product Management Automotive Aftermarket (f/m/d)
We are looking for an interested employee from 01.11.2025 for the position of Director Global Product Management of who is capable to manage the product strategy and roadmap in different regions worldwide for GSP Automotive Group.
- Development of a vision and strategy for our products from customer needs to sales on the market.
- Facilitate communication between local product managers, sales and headquarters in China to drive product development, launch, and market penetration.
- Create a new business potential matrix to be used across various sales and product manager functions
- Understand local market demand
- Create strategies for correct market positioning
- Optimize product lifecycle management, from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring profitability and market leadership
- Improve product reliability and reduce costs
We are looking for an employee who has the following qualifications, skills and experience in the automotive aftermarket industry:
- Bachelor degree or above, with more than 10 years of experience of product management or product marketing experience in automotive aftermarket industry.
- Ability to manage product lifecycles, product developments, product range extensions as well as SKU launches and product differentiation.
- Extensive experience in vehicle chassis product management.
- Knowledge of business with distributors and retailers (Autozone).
- High customer orientation.
- Long experience in cross-cultural collaboration and team management.
- Experience in building and leading cross-function teams in a matrix environment.
- Internal leadership team reporting.
- Ability of effective customer communication.
- Innovative thinking, structural planning and problem-solving skills.
- Language skill requirements: Fluent in English, preferences of Spanish and French
- Willingness of travelling: 1/3 or more of working time
