As a unit of the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit, ZEISS Microoptics specialises in the development, optimisation, mastering, replication and integration of optical applications based on micro-optical and holographic optical elements.
Your Role
In your role as Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing the communication strategy for the Aerospace Microoptics division, managing and realising internal and external communication measures. Your other tasks will include:

Planning and organising trade fairs as well as sales and customer events

Developing creative marketing measures and coordinating them with the overall strategy

Creation, optimisation and implementation of online marketing and social media concepts

Strategic and operational management of social media channels (especially LinkedIn), including content creation, community management and performance analyses

Creating technology-orientated content for various communication channels and ensuring a consistent brand presence in all marketing and sales media

Coordinating and managing external service providers and agencies as well as budget planning and monitoring

Successfully completed studies in communications, marketing, media studies or a related discipline

Several years of professional experience in marketing, communications or PR, ideally in the aerospace market segment

Relevant experience in the development and implementation of communication strategies

Basic technical understanding and a keen interest in future technologies, particularly in the field of optics is an advantage

Very good user knowledge of the common MS Outlook and Office applications

Independent, structured and results-orientated way of working

Strong communication skills in written and spoken English and German for stakeholder management as well as a willingness to travel regularly on national and international business trips
