That's why we're looking for you: an ambitious PMO / Transformation Manager based in Frankfurt am Main who can actively shape our growth with analytical thinking, project skills and financial expertise.
Role overview
The PMO / Transformation Manager is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving and coordinating the execution of the company's value creation plan (VCP). The PMO / Transformation Manager provides structure, discipline, and transparency across all major initiatives, enabling management and sponsor to track and accelerate performance improvement. Ideally a current or former management consultant, now seeking a hands-on role in an operating company and experienced in setting up PMO structures, driving performance improvement and partnering with investors.
1. Program Management & Governance
- Establish and manage a structured PMO framework
- Translate the value creation plan into actionable, measurable workstreams
- Set up clear governance (weekly initiative reviews, monthly steering committees, KPI dashboards)
- Maintain a single source of truth for initiative tracking, status and impact (financial and operational)
2. Execution & Value Delivery
- Partner with function heads (Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, IT, etc.) to execute transformation initiatives that drive tangible EBITDA improvement
- Ensure initiatives are clearly defined with business cases, milestones, owners and targets
- Support initiative leads with problem-solving, data analysis and project acceleration
- Monitor and challenge progress, escalating risks and proposing course corrections where needed
3. Reporting & Communication
- Develop concise yet insightful reports and dashboards for management and sponsors
- Communicate progress on KPIs, risks and financial impact with clarity and credibility
- Drive alignment between management and investors on priorities and outcomes
4. Change Management & Capability Building
- Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and performance focus
- Support leadership in communicating change priorities and success stories across the organization
- Coach the organization in project management to ensure sustainability
5. Ad Hoc Strategic Projects
- Lead or support targeted strategic initiatives such as M&A integration, cost take-out or pricing transformation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver special projects
Education & Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate PMO or operational transformation roles
- Ideally experience in working with private equity-backed and medium sized businesses (€50–500M revenue)
- Demonstrated success in executing cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable EBITDA uplift
Skills & Attributes
- Strong project and program management skills with structured, outcome-oriented execution
- Financial literacy-ability to link operational metrics to P&L and cash flow impact
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (across C-suite, investors and the broader organization)
- Resilient, pragmatic and hands-on-comfortable rolling up sleeves in lean organizations
