Around 3,000 employees are assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations in addition to the terminal activities.As Director (m/f/d) Uptake Management Process & Performance, you will assume a key role in the strategic development of our global Trade Management Uptake Management organization. In this position, you will lead an international team of specialists and managers while being responsible for optimizing processes and performance management across all Uptake Management Centers. You will develop and implement a KPI driven performance management system measuring performance by the same standards and definitions across the globe. You will translate strategic uptake management objectives into operational excellence and create sustainable value through standardization and continuous improvement. Your expertise in leading complex, cross-regional projects enables you to significantly enhance profitability and vessel utilization. Lead and strategically develop the global Process & Performance organization
Develop and implement KPI frameworks and performance management systems
Coordinate and optimize performance across all Uptake Management Centers to maximize vessel utilization
Conduct strategic review meetings with regional stakeholders and senior management
Establish global best-practice standards and facilitate knowledge transfer between all Uptake Management Centers
Resolve complex conflicts between Regions, Trade Management, Customer Service, Operations and Sales
Drive performance excellence by exceeding Quality Promises and strategic KPIs
Provide expert knowledge on Allocation Management topics, and support the Allocation Mangement Design team as required
Multi-year professional experience in Operations, Trade Management, or Sales within the shipping/logistics industry
Proven track record in leading cross-regional process optimization and standardization initiatives
Expertise in developing and implementing performance management systems and KPI frameworks
Experience in deploying digital/analytical solutions to improve visibility and decision-making
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision-making skills
Excellent English proficiency; additional languages are an advantage
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills at senior level
