With a fleet of 313 modern container ships and a total transport capacity of 2.5 million TEU, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. Hapag-Lloyd has a container capacity of 3.7 million TEU – including one of the largest and most modern fleets of reefer containers. A total of 133 liner services worldwide ensure fast and reliable connections between more than 600 ports on all the continents. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has equity stakes in 21 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India and North Africa. Around 3,000 employees are assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations in addition to the terminal activities.

You will support our Procurement Process Optimization Team in a variety of projects, with a focus on the following key areas:

  • Developing complex evaluations and analyses to support data-driven decision-making

  • Creating PowerPoint presentations as the basis for executive and board-level documents

  • Designing tracking and tracing tools for internal stakeholders

  • Supporting the team in various project-related tasks and day-to-day operations

  • As part of the Procurement Process Optimization Team, you will work in a corporate function and interact with various organizational units worldwide


  • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program in Logistics, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Structured, analytical, and reliable approach to work

  • Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills

  • Able to summarize own analyses and recommendations and present them convincingly to various stakeholders

  • Demonstrates a strong growth mindset and a high degree of flexibility

  • Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written), additional languages are a plus

  • Cultural awareness and openness to other perspectives are key requirements

  • Previous experience in Controlling or Process Management is an advantage
