We're looking for a Group Impact & Sustainability Manager to play a key role in building our market presence after the merger of Signitic and Mailtastic.

The role

At Positive Group, we believe Impact is not a side project, but one of the central levers of our sustainable growth and success. It is a core strategic pillar that enhances our culture and ensures we deliver positive value to society and the planet.

That's why we are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Group Impact & Sustainability Manager to coordinate and execute key social, societal, and environmental initiatives across our European operations and value chain.

Reporting to the Chief People & Impact Officer and within the People & Impact Department, this role is a crucial coordinator and driver of change. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and measuring impact projects, mobilising stakeholders, and integrating sustainability objectives into business activities.

1. Group strategy execution & analysis

  • Execute Positive's CSR roadmap, ensuring strict compliance with key EU directives and regulations (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD readiness support).
  • Continue to audit, analyse and report on all existing Group initiatives to establish a continuous baseline and provide data-driven input for the Impact Strategy.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of non-financial (ESG) data, ensuring data quality for annual CSR reports and our annual carbon footprint survey.

2. Collaborative project coordination

  • Coordinate and drive the implementation of cross-functional sustainability projects across the three core impact pillars:
    • Environmental impact: Tracking and analysis for carbon footprint reduction, waste reduction, and responsible digital initiatives across the Group.
    • Societal impact: Implementing initiatives aligned with the company's external mission in all locations.
    • Internal social impact: Quality of Working Life (QWL/QWLC) initiatives, Diversity & Inclusion programmes (including disability, gender equality, etc.) in close collaboration with our People & Impact team.
    • Crucially, actively support and mobilise a network of "Sustainability Ambassadors" across business units and geographies, using strong collaboration and influence to ensure project deadlines are met.

3. Measurement & engagement

  • Establish, track, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to regularly measure and evaluate the impact of implemented initiatives.
  • Engage and raise awareness across employees, clients, and investors regarding social and environmental challenges, often in collaboration with the Chief People & Impact Officer.
  • Assist in identifying and supporting strategic external partnerships.

Experience & knowledge: Proven experience (3+ years) in a dedicated CSR, Sustainability, or Impact role, ideally within an EU-based organisation.

  • EU regulatory awareness: Good working knowledge and understanding of EU regulations and CSR standards (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy).
  • Execution & coordination:
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate complex, cross-functional projects, with a focus on hitting targets through influence and collaboration rather than direct authority.
    • Strong analytical mind, capable of handling figures and statistics to accurately measure and evaluate impact.
  • Project management tools: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Miro) and preparing necessary tracking supports (dashboards, meeting reports, action logs).
  • Interpersonal & communication:
    • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to gather consensus and build effective networks among diverse, international stakeholders.
    • Excellent written and oral communication in English is imperative and in other European languages (German, French, Italian or Polish).

Other conditions

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field required.
  • Contract: Full time contract.
  • Travel: Occasional international travel may be required.
  • Based in one of our offices in Germany: Berlin or Chemnitz
