suena energy is a green tech startup specializing in algorithmic energy trading for energy storage systems and renewable energies.
Our vision: a world where clean energy is used reliably, economically, and intelligently. With our AI-based optimization and trading software, we maximize the revenues of operators of large-scale energy storage and renewable assets on short-term electricity and balancing markets – while simultaneously minimizing their risks.
We're a team of 38 people, combining a warm, supportive team culture with true startup drive. Following our successful Series A, we're expanding our team – and looking for a customer-focused relationship builder who will pioneer the Customer Success function at suena.

- You're based in or near Hamburg (hybrid setup)
- You love building long-term client relationships and being their trusted contact
- You have a solid understanding of technical topics – ideally renewables or power trading – and can turn them into customer value
- You work proactively and keep a cool head when things get complex
- You're fluent in German and comfortable in English – some clients may speak English, internal language is English
- Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of up to 20–25 clients, building lasting relationships and acting as their advocate within suena
- Strengthen client loyalty and engagement by developing success plans, leading regular business reviews and ensuring a positive client experience – your impact is measured by client satisfaction and retention
- Handle, prioritize, and track support tickets and client portfolios, keep clients informed, and coordinate solutions with internal experts when needed
- Lead client workshops and invite customers to events to further foster strong partnerships and share best practices
- Support knowledge transfer and help build a knowledge base for recurring customer topics
- Collaborate closely with Sales, who take over for contract renewals and commercial topics, allowing you to focus on the ongoing success and satisfaction of our clients
- At least 2 years of experience in customer success or account management, ideally with complex or technical products
- Background in the energy sector – you understand industry challenges and can communicate confidently with both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills in German (C1) and English (B2); you enjoy working closely with clients from various backgrounds
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style; you anticipate client needs and are quick to coordinate resources internally
- Confident using digital customer success tools (Hubspot, Notion, Teams)
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities with a cool head, even when things get busy
- Growth mindset and readiness to help shape processes, culture, and the future of customer success at suena
- Engineering or technical background is a plus, but not required
