We are seeking an experienced Freelance Fashion Merchandising & Sales Specialist to support the growth of our private label and in-house brand across the European market — with a strong emphasis on the DACH region — as well as international expansion.
- Lead B2B sales outreach and manage relationships with premium and luxury retailers across the DACH region and broader Europe.
- Develop tailored merchandising strategies for private label and in-house collections.
- Present seasonal collections to buyers, drive order placement, and oversee the full wholesale sales cycle.
- Identify new market opportunities and open new retail accounts.
- Work closely with design, production, and leadership teams to align assortment, pricing, and market positioning.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor movement, pricing structures, and product performance.
- Coordinate sample management, lookbooks, line sheets, and brand assets for buyer presentations.
- Support brand visibility through e-commerce insights, social media input, and digital merchandising recommendations.
- Attend trade shows, market weeks, and client meetings as necessary.
- Maintain weekly reporting on sales performance, buyer conversations, and strategic opportunities.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the fashion industry, ideally within premium or luxury segments.
- Strong background in merchandising, wholesale sales, and brand representation.
- Deep understanding of the DACH market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
- Established network of retail buyers across premium and luxury boutiques and department stores.
- Experience with private label and in-house brand development.
- Proven track record of building partnerships and expanding market reach.
- E-commerce and social media savvy with understanding of digital retail impact.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, independent, and proactive.
