Field Applications Engineer (m/f/d)
  • Actively enable the integration of Raith products into the process sequences and workflows at customer sites to accelerate ROI
  • Work with customer engineers to develop and implement customized Raith solutions to advance key customer needs such as technical approval processes of new tools, ramp-up, and yield
  • Demonstrate a collaborative attitude to meet customer needs and nurture a positive relationship
  • Provide on-site professional technical expertise in Europe and possibly globally
  • Transfer and implement newly developed solutions at customer sites
  • Feed back customer needs and performance requirements from the field to Raith stakeholders
  • Lead the development of customized solutions
  • Execute advanced technical trainings for young and seasoned professionals, remote and on-site
  • Lead tool acceptance (FAT/SAT) for advanced, non-standard tests
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with external and internal customers

  • PhD or master's degree with preferably 3 years of relevant work experience in physics, materials science, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of semiconductor processing, device physics, failure analysis techniques, statistical process control, and process optimization
  • Proven track record of working well with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent, clear communication skills and the ability to nurture positive, sustainable relationships with customers
  • Excellent problem-analysis and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency with statistical analysis software (JMP, Minitab)
  • Fluent in English, good in German would be beneficial; additional languages would be a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%) and possession of a valid passport
