Applications for Sales Engineer (m/f/d)
  • Deliver high-quality product demonstrations
  • Execute application projects and advise customers with technical understanding of the tools and their performance capacity, acting as technological interface to the customer
  • Translate customer requests and needs into applications solutions
  • Continuously improve applications performance
  • Nurture positive customer relationships and act as highest-level customer interface for specific equipment and applications request
  • Collaborate with product management, R&D, other Applications departments to provide feedback on system performance and potential improvements/future developments
  • Root cause analysis and minor tool maintenance work

Key results:
  • Successful product and application demonstrations in the form of sample work projects and in-house demonstrations
  • Successful execution of applicational challenges to show Raith's technological and applicative advantages to customers
  • Provide internal feedback of tool performances and customer needs helping Raith to continuously improve its products
  • Collaborative attitude to meet customer needs and nurture a positive relationship

  • PhD or Master‘s degree with preferably 3 years relevant work experience in physics, materials science, electrical engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with EBL tools are required
  • Proven track record to work well with cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills tailored for a wide variety of audiences are critical for this position
  • Outstanding customer interfacing skills are an absolute necessity
  • Knowledge of advanced technology progression in the field of nanofabrication would be a plus
  • Self-motivation and -management, results-driven attitude and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English, good German language skills
