Your Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Technologist to join our Separation Technologies team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing results, and supporting the development and scale-up of production processes for the concentration of flavorings from natural raw materials.
- Set up and maintain laboratory equipment for separation processes.
- Perform laboratory tests including distillation, extraction, adsorption, and chromatography.
- Conduct analytical evaluations using GC, GC/MS, HPLC, photometry, and other relevant techniques.
- Prepare samples and independently evaluate and interpret test results.
- Document findings in laboratory journals and SAP systems.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the development and optimization of production processes from lab to pilot and production scale.
- Register product and development numbers; conduct product reviews.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
About You
- Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant or Chemical Technician.
- Proven work experience in separation technologies and analytical chemistry.
- Strong technical understanding and process engineering knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with scale-up processes from lab to production.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques (GC, GC/MS, HPLC, etc.).
- Familiarity with MS Office and SAP systems.
- Fluent in German (written and spoken) - mandatory.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
