Financial Analyst (Operations) (f/m/d)


We are currently recruiting a Financial Analyst to join the European Headquarters based in Winnenden (Stuttgart Area) office. The successful candidate will primarily support the EMEA Power Tools Division and collaborate closely with department managers across key central functions including Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence.

The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, involving regular interaction with various departments and finance teams across the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the monthly closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial results through active management and coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver complex monthly reporting, including actuals and year-to-go forecasts with clear insights
  • Analyse and present monthly performance to the departmental managers, identify key trends, potential risks and opportunities to support informed decision-making
  • Support the annual budgeting process, including planning, reporting and presentation. This involves close collaboration with the department managers and preparation of budget packages.
  • Design and develop new financial reports and analytics to enhance visibility, drive profitability and strategic decision making
  • Participate in cross functional projects, such as internal process optimization, cost saving initiatives, and control enhancements
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Analytical skills with good understanding of financial KPI's and performance metrics
  • Process oriented with a logical and inquisitive way of working, competent in identifying efficiencies and improvements
  • Proven knowledge in building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders across functions
  • Willingness to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with knowledge in presenting complex information clearly
  • Strong time management skills with the willingness to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in Operations Finance or Manufacturing is highly desirable
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP FI/CO modules
  • Background in FMCG or a similar fast-paced, product-driven sector is preferred
