Senior Financial Data Analyst (m/f/d) – ESG

Job Purpose / Role

Join our team and become part of the journey to operational excellence! We are looking for a Senior Financial Data Analyst who is able to take over service ownership and strategically improve our operational processes. Our team is responsible for delivering reliable services in a dynamic environment to provide the downstream services with high-quality data and thereby support the reporting and decision-making process of one of the world's leading financial institutions. The focus of your work will be on supporting our daily service delivery in the Sustainability area.

  • Take over ownership for the service provision in the Sustainability area
  • Quality assurance of all relevant data sets (investment, portfolio and market data) for providing downstream services with high-quality data
  • Proactively identify process improvements and work with experts from other departments to ensure the continuous improvement of our services
  • Work in close collaboration with experts from other departments to drive the development of our operational framework (e.g. improvements for data quality checks, process automation) to ensure the delivery of high quality data according to the clients' needs
  • Perform data analysis related to complex client inquiries about the content of reports
  • Involvement in projects with a focus on „Transition to Operations“

  • University degree related to finance with IT-background and profound work experience in this area
  • In-depth financial know-how, especially in the context of investment data
  • High data affinity and experience in data analysis, preferably with relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL)
  • Proactivity and strong sense of responsibility combined with the ability to see the big picture while paying attention to details at the same time
  • Independent way of working, process-oriented thinking and a strong service attitude
  • Understanding and first experiences in the ESG area are a plus
  • Experience in working with or management of service providers (is an advantage)
  • Team player mentality, creativity and problem-solving mentality
  • Strong communication and co-operation skills
  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage
