Technology Analyst (m/f/d)
The Technology Analyst plays a key role in bridging the gap between modern IT requirements and effective technology solutions. In this role, you will gather and analyze detailed technical requirements, design solutions for projects and workstreams, and translate both project-specific and organizational needs into functional and non-functional system requirements.
You'll lead technical assessments, facilitate solution workshops with suppliers, and drive end-to-end solution delivery. This position spans IT architecture, analysis, and implementation, requiring strong interpersonal skills and a hands-on approach. An affinity for the financial services industry and familiarity with regulatory frameworks are advantageous.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document technology requirements.
- Design and propose IT solutions aligned with business objectives, including specifications and diagrams.
- Assess third-party solutions for feasibility, cost, and technical fit.
- Support the implementation of new systems and IT releases, including testing and troubleshooting.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the technology landscape and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain clear documentation of IT systems and their impact on processes.
- Contribute to the compliant introduction of new technologies in line with regulatory requirements (e.g. DORA, MaRisk).
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and manage the technology backlog in close collaboration with project teams and suppliers.
- Ensure successful delivery of technology changes, either independently or as part of project teams..
- Recognised university degree and several years of experience as a Technology Analyst, IT Analyst, or IT Architect.
- Solid understanding of software development, architecture frameworks, and cloud platforms; programming knowledge is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in implementing and supporting technology solutions across the full delivery lifecycle.
- Skilled in working within multi-supplier environments and collaborating across teams and with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Passion for continuously improving technology processes and aligning IT infrastructure with strategic goals.
