As Assistant Manufacturing Engineering (m/f/d), you will provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the team. In this role, you will coordinate meetings, track and distribute meeting minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on defined actions. You will act as a central point of contact for internal clients across the region, supporting effective communication and information flow. We are currently seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment while contributing to meaningful projects.
The position will be based in our Clarios EMEA office in Hannover, Germany.
What you will do
As Assistant Manufacturing Engineering (m/f/d), you will support the strategic and operational effectiveness of the ME EMEA organization by coordinating communication, managing administrative processes, and ensuring smooth collaboration across functions and locations. Your key responsibilities include:

Coordinating internal communication within the ME department in close cooperation with Central Communications at HQ and the Hannover plant

Managing correspondence, organizing calendars, and preparing agendas for key meetings and events

Planning and coordinating the Director ME EMEA's travel schedule and related correspondence

Organizing international business travel, including visa arrangements and expense handling

Monitoring cost centers and departmental expenses with regular monthly reporting

Compiling and distributing weekly performance and project reports for the ME team

Ensuring all documentation, such as organizational charts, team and task presentations, and standards and norms, is up to date

Organizing the onboarding and supervision of bachelor and master thesis applicants and interns during their time within the department

Acting as time officer for the ME and IT departments to ensure accurate time management processes

Supporting facility management activities for ME offices and workshops to maintain an efficient and safe working environment
What makes you a good fit

Commercial education is required, a related university degree is a plus

Initial professional experience as an Assistant, preferably within the automotive industry

Strong decision-making and goal-setting abilities aligned with company objectives

High level of adaptability to change and a proactive mindset in suggesting improvements within the area of responsibility

Clear, effective, and precise communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of a matrix organization

Excellent organizational and presentation skills

Strong interpersonal and intercultural competencies, with the ability to thrive in diverse team environments

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, ideally first experiences with SAP

Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus
