  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using dbt to enable scalable and reliable data transformations.
  • Model and manage Data Vault architectures and derive business-oriented Data Marts to support analytics and reporting use cases.
  • Establish and continuously improve data quality monitoring processes, including validation checks and automated controls.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, cloud architects, and data analysts to jointly design and implement effective data solutions.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team through code reviews, internal trainings, and bestpractice exchange—especially in dbt and Data Vault methodologies.

  • A degree in Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a comparable field (STEM background preferred)
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or software engineering with a strong focus on data workflows
  • Deep expertise in semantic and logical data modeling, especially Data Vault, along with hands-on experience using modeling tools such as dbt
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with cloud-based data warehouses such as Azure and Snowflake
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and a solid understanding of DevOps principles in a data context
  • Strong analytical thinking – able to understand and design complex data flows in a structured and scalable way
  • Solution-oriented mindset – pragmatic approach to technical challenges with a focus on getting things done
  • Proactive attitude – driven to identify and realize optimization potential in data processes and infrastructure
