We are seeking an eager IT Administrator Trainee in Cologne to be part of our dynamic team, driving innovation in User Administration, IT Helpdesk Service and managing our cutting-edge AWS Infrastructure.

Since, from time to time, this role will require some physical presence in our Cologne office, candidates living out of the Cologne area won't be considered this time!

What you can expect in this role

Our Traineeship Programme aims to equip our colleague with all the necessary tools and knowledge to master the fields of IT Helpdesk and Infrastructure Management (InfraOps) on AWS (Amazon Web Services)

With us, you are an active player, working hand in hand with our team in the design of better solutions and with the possibility of leading your own projects!

Our programme has a duration of 18 months, divided temporally into:

  • Six months of IT Helpdesk/Service Desk specialisation: the trainee is capable of understanding the most common IT issues, all of them based on KB articles. Intune knowledge
  • Six months of InfraOps (AWS) & IT Helpdesk specialisation: the trainee is expected to have a wide understanding about the most common resources we use in AWS Cloud and should be able to create and or modify them using infrastructure as code with Terraform
  • During the last six months, trainee can choose between specialising in InfraOps or Service Desk areas: Take charge of projects in InfraOps or IT HelpDesk, with guidance, to drive company success. After one year, trainees can specialise in either area while supporting IT HelpDesk operations

  • You are an IT lover and are interested in developing yourself working with the latest and most interesting tools on the market (Jira, Terraform, AWS...)
  • You have proficiency in English (it's our working language). German or/and Spanish Languages are always a plus!
  • You live in Cologne area and can go to the our Office when our business requires
  • You have basic programming knowledge. Nice to have some basic command line script skills
  • You consider yourself a Team Player!

IT Helpdesk/Service Desk - Business As Usual:

  • Direct user support for Cologne & Alicante offices using Jira ticketing system and message communication
  • User onboarding, offboarding & maintenance using Active Directory, Okta, Google, and other external applications
  • Configuration and shipment of IT equipment for new onboardings and existing employees
  • Problem troubleshooting of IT equipment (remotely and on-site at the office)
  • IT inventory management
  • Setup of IT equipment for presentations (audiovisual) during special company events
  • Active collaboration with Management, Human Resources and Office Management in resources needs
  • Documentation of processes and troubleshooting using Confluence as the primary tool
  • Mobile Device Management

Infrastructure & Sys Administration:

  • Embark on an exciting journey of Infrastructure Management, where you'll dive deep into the world of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within AWS
  • Be at the forefront of designing and optimising our infrastructure, embracing automation at every turn
  • Play a pivotal role in supporting development teams
  • Fine-tune software solutions for maximum efficiency and impact
