The European Shared Services for Debt Collections in Berlin services delinquent retail and small business customers for Germany, Spain, Italy, France, BeNeLux and the UK. The focus of the department is to mitigate credit losses through customer interaction in order to reach payment arrangements with our customers.

Your tasks will be:

  • Responsible for retail areas – Negotiate with customer to collect monthly installments from customers facing a problem of high arrears by using available technology while adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Use negotiation tools to determine a customer's reason for delinquency
  • Provide proactive thinking to utilize internal “tool kit” to assist customer in determining the proper resolution (payment, restructure, voluntary surrender)
  • Provide restructuring agreements to qualified customers
  • Provide support to collections third parties
  • Manage of incoming/outcoming emails, letters, faxes and payments allocations

What you bring to the table:

  • Degree in Laws, Business Administration, Economics/Finance or a related field
  • Strong professional experience in Collections
  • Experience in customer services
  • Native speaker level in English language
  • Any other european languages will be considered as a plus
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
