The European Shared Services Retail Collections in Berlin services accounts for Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Benelux and the UK. The focus of the Retail Collections department is loss mitigation by negotiation with our customers to reach a payment arrangement. If payment arrangements are not possible the department is responsible for taking actions that reduces the potential credit loss for Mercedes-Benz Mobility.

We are looking for a working student for our Collections Retail team in Berlin.

Supporting the team within daily operational and especially administrative tasks as:

  • Handling mailboxes of the department, classifying emails and replying to customer and colleagues from other areas
  • Conduct extensive research both online and through the optical archive to find contact numbers and email addresses of clients that cannot be reached as well as gathering documentation from relevant contracts
  • Other administrative tasks related with the collections activities and payment identification
  • Updating data in the IT-systems
  • Create ah-hoc reports or analysis regarding different work ques when needed
  • Supporting the department with other operational topics that may arise

  • Ongoing studies in Law, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience in working in call center environment or having customer support experience will be a plus, but not necessary
  • Spanish speaker on a native Speaker Level and English language on advanced level
  • Good Communication skills
  • Critical thinker and fast learner
  • Good teamworker, self-reliant way of working
