  • You will support co-designing and implementing the ISCC EU strategy, and help define market segments of relevance for the strategic focus.
  • You will support managing and optimising ISCC EU processes.
  • You will contribute to business development measures.
  • You will contribute to ISCC EU controlling, including setting up relevant KPIs.
  • You will support cross-departmental communication.
  • You will support company-wide team building.
  • You will contribute to continuous improvement process within company and encourage own team to contribute.
  • You will support implementing state-of-the-art technology/digitalization and training own team.

Day-to-day work of department:
  • You will support recognition process of ISCC EU under RED II.
  • You will support developing principles, criteria, indicators for ISCC EU, including benchmarking.
  • You will support developing and update documents (system documents, audit procedures, etc.).
  • You will support monitoring and assessing relevant legislation and market developments (e.g. RED III, Fit for 55).
  • You will support and participate in stakeholder communication regarding ISCC EU recognition in general and with focus on traceability and mass balance.
  • You will support maintaining governmental/national system relations.
  • You will support key account stakeholder relation, first point of contact for EC for ISCC EU recognition.
  • You will support role for ISCC Basic Training.
  • You will support facilitating practical implementation of requirements through technical guidance to CBs and System Users.


  • University degree in law, economics, business management, bioenergy, chemistry, circular economy, environmental studies or similar.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience after graduation.
  • At least 1 year of relevant postgraduate professional experience in relevant field (organisations/stakeholder associations) for similar topics.
  • Preferred: experience with sustainability certification, labels and/or relevant EU and/or Member State legislation.
  • Preferred: experience in high-level customer support.
  • Excellent communication skills in an international environment with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent language skills in English (at least C1) and good German (at least B2), additional language skills will be of advantage.
  • Very good project management skills.
  • Very good understanding of certification systems.
  • Very good knowledge of ISCC EU.
  • Very good understanding of relevant EU legislation.
  • Very good presentation skills as well as the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms and to prepare professional presentations according to target group.
  • General IT proficiency and very good working knowledge in databases and MS Office.
  • High degree of initiative and very good decision-making ability combined with an independent working style and pragmatic, hands-on attitude.
  • Willingness to contribute to the continuous improvement process and to drive change.
