Unit description
BTO will drive security of supply, energy transition, organizational and financial health through digital, data and analytics. BTO will secure solid foundations through seamless end-user services (UX), industry-leading cybersecurity setup and resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure. BTO will have consistent business/BTO alignment, strategic partnerships with vendors and clear standards on architecture, vendor & portfolio management and security. BTO will unlock value of data and digital by building all the necessary enablers (incl. data platform, data governance processes, capabilities) and embedding innovation initiatives into business roadmaps.TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Enterprise Architect - Cyber Security (m/w/d) at our location Bayreuth who will contribute to this. You work together with BTO's IT Architects, Security team and CISO to evolve on and continuously improve Cyber Security architecture standards and overall architecture landscape. We need integrated architecture combined with end-to-end process focus to improve the solid foundation of Processes, Data, Applications and Information Technology. You are the contact person for senior leadership regarding all Cyber Security related topics and required decisions. We are looking for someone that:
- Takes ownership of the cyber security domain, the process and products
- Shows courage and stands for his/her vision, gets people on board by steering from their beliefs,
- Actively connects with all stakeholders, he/she collaborates with business, external suppliers, IT architects, and all relevant stakeholders to ensure a shared architectural vision. He/she is especially strong in organizing and mobilizing the organization to reach that joint vision
- Actively contribute to the development, assessment, and realization of the Enterprise Architecture and the Enterprise Architecture Governance
- Establish principles, governance and guidance for maturing our cyber security capability
- Develop and implement the enterprise-wide cyber security architecture and framework, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Develop the roadmap, and outline how this target architecture is realized
- Set expectations for quality, consistency, and delivery, ensuring that those standards are met and improved over time
- Monitor implementation of key cyber security related projects, and ensuring proper escalation and reporting to senior management stakeholders
- Proactively identify, analyse, review, and evaluate ideas, projects, and opportunities on cyber security topics
- Foster a culture of security awareness and education among employees, promoting best practices and proactive threat detection and response
- 10+ years of experience in a similar function, preferably you have done this before. Having business (TSO/Utilities/Infra asset) understanding is a big plus
- Strong experience in leadership roles, focusing on architectural solutions for strategic importance. You negotiate support for difficult decisions, anticipate problems, and ensure that credibility and trust are uncompromised
- Strong experience with industry standards and best practices in information security and risk management (including cyber security)
- In depth knowledge on IT infrastructure, software development, software architecture, and cyber security in general
- Ability to motivate stakeholders to fit Cyber Security architecture into the company's strategy. You do this by inspiration rather than through direct authority
- Capable to functionally guide the IT Architects in the domain
