  • Support venture investment managers with profitability calculations and investment appraisals as well as portfolio and risk analyses as part of the ventures investment process

  • Take part in DD processes for venture investments

  • Challenge and discuss business plans of our internal ventures as well as external portfolio companies and develop own financial model

  • Accurately update internal portfolio database to actual results, forecasts, and budgets for our investments

  • Analyze and provide clarification on variances especially for external portfolio companies

  • Cooperation with our Ventures Controller, Finance department, and further departments and Business Units in the organization

  • Support in the development of an information system for performance measurement and monitoring of asset management

  • Contribute to the implementation of selection processes, particularly in asset evaluations and valuations, risk profiling, option creation and modeling

  • Evaluate capital market research in a broad range of investment classes


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting

  • 2-3 Years of relevant experience • Strong quantitative financial skills

  • Ability to propose “creative” solutions for business plans, business models in a very dynamic setting

  • a highly analytical mindset and high interest in building and implementing end-to-end processes for new businesses

  • Affinity for venture like activities

  • good communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Independent way of working with a strong team spirit

  • High degree of independent work organization required

  • Proficiency in Excel
