  • commission our mask inspection system in Oberkochen and accompany the installation and system integration of the complex systems at the customer's site in the field

  • provide customer service for the photolithography products used by the end customer

  • select the appropriate solution from alternative service scenarios, such as component replacement and carry it out according to internal process specifications

  • carry out device adjustment and overall device commissioning of complex subsystems (with parts of electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, EUV optics, vacuum technology and robotics) and assume overall responsibility for the entire service operation

  • advise and support customers on service and commissioning issues

  • develop technical solutions for new service measures in the draft, co-develop, accompany, assess and test

  • during the development of new products in the development project, actively define the serviceability and follow the implementation

  • for quality assurance, create documentation on service operations and processes, assess and implement required adjustments

  • define training contents, create corresponding documentation and conduct training courses


  • you have a university degree in optics/mechatronics with 3-5 years of experience in the field of optics or precision mechanics

  • you have a sound knowledge of the analysis of the dynamic behavior of mechanical systems and have at least a basic knowledge of Matlab

  • you are characterized by a high degree of customer orientation as well as special commitment/flexibility with regard to working hours

  • in addition, you are interested in and willing to work for our customers worldwide, sometimes at short notice (also for several weeks during the installation phase and to work in shifts, if necessary).

  • you are a self-starter with a hands-on mentality and assertiveness

  • last but not least you have a good command of written and spoken English as well as excellent communication skills
