Have you worked with Quality Control in the Biotech or Pharma industry? Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and quality of innovative vaccines? Are you meticulous in your approach to Quality Control, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements? Then, keep reading! You just might be our new QC Technician (M/F/D).
Become part of our growing Quality Control Department in Martinsried/ Munich!
The local QC department consists of about 65 colleagues who, together with our teams situated in Denmark and Switzerland, form an important part of our quality organization. With your team, you will release test clinical trial materials as well as our commercial products.
With a growing product portfolio that revolves around vaccines, you will also get the chance to contribute to the design and implementation of new methods and procedures along with our research department.
- FACS-based titration of pox vectored vaccines
- Release testing of vaccines (e.g. ELISAs, PCRs, Gas Chromatography, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy)
- Assay development
- Standard cell culture techniques, incl. Preparation of primary cell cultures (chicken embryo fibroblasts)
- Work under GMP
- Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures and good documentation practice
Succeeding with our vision of becoming one of the largest pure-play vaccine companies in the world is an ambitious goal, and that is why we need people like you who are determined to make it happen and have the following qualifications:
- Qualification as BTA, MTA, CTA or PTA or an equivalent
- Experience in the field of FACS and standard cell culture techniques preferable
- Experience in molecular biology (PCR, Western Blot) preferable
- Experience in immunological assays (e.g. ELISA) preferable
- Good knowledge of standard computer programs (MS Office)
- Good documentation and communication skills in English and German
- Enjoy working in an extensive, international team and structures as well as precise work ethic
