In this role you will be our expert in the team for Change & Transformation Management advising business leaders and HR colleagues in the set-up and implementation of effective Change Management measures for transformation programs and initiatives


  • Independently develop concepts, frameworks and guidelines for Organizational Development with a focus on Change & Transformation Management for the ZEISS Group

  • Define and implement organizational development interventions designed to achieve the ZEISS strategy and support ZEISS' transformation ambitions

  • Drive a standardized and integrated approach to building ZEISS critical organizational capabilities by providing aligned methodologies and tools and advising on their application

  • Independently design, and execute Change Management strategies that support the successful implementation of specific, larger transformation initiatives

  • Conduct stakeholder and change impact assessments and derive specific actions plans, drive implementation of defined measures

  • Act as advisor and ensure engagement of relevant stakeholders on different hierarchical levels by targeted interventions

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures, adjust Change Management strategy as needed

  • Ensure alignment of specific transformation initiatives with overall strategic direction of Transformation@ZEISS

  • Contribute to the growth of a newly created function by building an integrated Organizational Development portfolio for ZEISS as well as an internal and external ecosystem

  • Coach and mentor team members in the delivery of Change Management support

  • Promote a Community of Practice including enabling the use of tools and methodologies and coaching colleagues involved in transformation initiatives across ZEISS, ensure that best practices are identified and implemented


  • Master's degree and relevant professional qualifications/accreditations (e.g., in behavioral sciences, (industrial) psychology, leadership development, human resources, or similar).

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience with a focus on Change Management, ideally with international experience

  • Certification in Change Management and/or Systemic Organizational Development is preferred

  • Consulting background preferred

  • Strong conceptual skills and the ability to quickly develop a profound business understanding, strong business acumen

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex organizational change and transformation initiatives

  • Strong Project Management skills and the ability to manage projects simultaneously

  • Team-orientation and the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment

  • Professional stakeholder management and keen to build strong partnerships for enhancing our Organizational Development capabilities

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills combined with ‘can-do' – mentality. Driven by high focus on results, assertiveness and pragmatism

  • Business fluency in written and spoken English
