In order to expand our European Finance team, we are looking for you as a self-driven individual at our offices in Ismaning, Germany


  • Lead the actuarial team in Head Office (and maybe also in the local Branches)
  • Direct and organize the actuarial function, provide actuarial advice and pricing insights to the CFO, Board and Branche
  • Responsible for consistent valuation of best estimate reserve in local Gaap, IFRS and Solvency II
  • Act as Actuarial Function Holder for the company
  • Support and give guidance on Solvency II topics across the organisation, support Risk Management, ORSA and planning/FP&A
  • Support and give guidance regarding reinsurance, pricing, and underwriting.

  • Successfully completed university studies in (applied) mathematics, computer science, data science or similar with proven quantitative reference.
  • Qualification by an actuarial body recognised in the EU
  • Management experience and good leadership skills; project management experience would be a big plus.
  • Broad and solid actuarial knowledge in non-life, ideally motor insurance
  • Deep and broad understanding of Solvency II
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German, and the ability to move confidently in an international environment (other European language skills are a plus)
