Senior Associate Project Manager (m/f/d)

NTT Global Data Centers EMEA has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate Project Manager (m/f/d). This is a mixed disciplinary role where you will be supporting the DC Delivery organization division. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced site supervisor who has some project management experience and would like to continue to build on this. The successful candidate will be supporting in planning, managing, delivering & supervising client facing projects within the whitespace of NTT's Data Center portfolio. The role will be focused on existing clients who have additional requirements in their existing footprint supporting multi-discipline projects including but not limited to electrical, construction and IT cabling works. The role will come with a requirement to supervise the works undertaken on site. This role will be based 5 days on site.


  • Review and approval of necessary RAMS in order to complete the Method of procedure documents (MOP's) ensuring the work follows the approved procedures
  • Carry out Dynamic Risk Assessments at the point of works and deliver H&S Toolbox talks as required
  • Ensure all work carried out is in line with company Health & Safety policies with no exceptions
  • Perform effective risk management (both identification of and mitigation strategies) to minimize project risks
  • Provide sub-contractor supervision in line with the agreed supervision frequency on each project
  • Support commercial teams with preparation of cost estimates and delivery dates against a scope of work
  • Implementation of site inspections/audits and completion of the relevant checklists (daily spot checks and weekly project management reporting)
  • Controlling external service providers with regard to quality of execution, H&S performance and compliance with the agreed contractual obligations, as well as their documentation
  • Creation of reporting for regular project control with regards to deviations (including costs, scheduling and quality requirements)

  • Construction experience preferably in critical infrastructure, such as Data Center industry, oil and gas industry, pharmaceutical industry, engineering in power plant construction, plant engineering or mechanical engineering advantageous
  • Preferably some experience in project management, in a similar industry or environment
  • Good working knowledge and practical experience of managing Health & Safety on site across Data Centers
  • Experience of sub-contractor supervision in Data Centers or similar construction / mission critical industries
  • Can adapt and react to dynamic changing environment
  • Excellent internal communication skills
  • Confident and competent to address contractor issues on site
  • Have a can-do attitude with the ability to improve ways of working
  • Ability to work in multinational, interdisciplinary and culturally diverse teams
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Project)
  • Business fluent in English
