ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radio­pharma­ceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radio­pharma­ceuticals and radio­isotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuro­endocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radio­nuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology. The head­quarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

We would like to fill the following permanent vacancy in a hybrid working model in Garching as soon as possible:

Strategic purchaser in clinical outsourcing (f/m/d)


  • Support clinical outsourcing projects to ensure successful and timely delivery within the budget
  • Lead cross-functional teams in vendor selection and manage the stakeholders
  • Prepare request for proposal packages and review proposals for cost comparisons
  • Negotiate contracts, manage service scope changes, and monitor performance
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards throughout sourcing activities
  • Ability to work with procurement ERP systems and tools (SAP experience is a plus)
  • Strong procurement process knowledge and ability to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Master's degree in science or business with category management knowledge
  • Ideally more than five years of international clinical research, outsourcing and procurement experience and understanding of drug development
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and contract research organizations
  • Proficient in procurement, project management, negotiation, and vendor oversight
  • Strong communication, risk management, and supplier relation skills
  • Fluent in English and German
