As International Chief Accountant (m/f/d) you are responsible for the preparation and declaration of financial statements according to IFRS, tax returns and compliance with internal controls and external regulations. You work closely with our team and auditors to continuously optimize financial processes. The position can be located in one of our offices in Stuttgart or Munich.
The contract is limited to 18-24 months due to parental leave substitution, a de-termination is not excluded in principle.
- Prepare, submit and explain monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS
- Support in the preparation of the local financial statements
- Analysis and provision of additional financial data
- Close cooperation with colleagues in Headquarters and Controlling
- Ensure compliance with national tax regulations in cooperation with headquarters
- Close cooperation and support of internal and external auditors (audit and tax)
- Performing postings, account reconciliations, and general ledger and subledger reconciliations
- Completed studies with focus on finance and accounting, alternatively accountant or also tax consultant
- At least 3 years of professional experience in an international corporate environment or in auditing
- Sound accounting knowledge and very good analytical skills
- Financial statement security according to IFRS, ideally Polish GAAP
- Very good Excel skills and ERP system knowledge (ideally PeopleSoft, Oracle, JD Edwards)
- Fluent written and spoken English, Polish and German advantageous
