To support the systematic expansion of our activities and to realise our ambitious growth targets, we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to take the role of: Plant Director (m/f/d)


In this newly defined position, you will be responsible for the development and leadership of our two UK plants (manufacturing and assembly, > 200 employees, turnover > 30 million euros).

Based at the Northwest plant, you will operate as an innovative, agile, and high-performance operations partner for sophisticated customer solutions. With direct responsibility for the site-based functional management teams (e.g., production, quality, engineering and SHE), you will provide important leadership for the further development of the UK operations.

Using a sustainable approach to further develop operational excellence, you will systematically and continuously optimize productivity, investments, and quality. You will report directly to the Director Operations EMEA and work in close proximity and in regular exchange with Group functions such as R&D, Sales, Finance, HR, and our global operations network.


As an experienced plant manager from a material-based industrial environment (e.g., plastics, chemicals, ceramics, non-ferrous metals, steel) or other similarly structured industries, you have been successfully working in a comparable position for several years, preferably in a corporate unit with a high degree of local independence. You have a track record that demonstrates you can lead a complex operation through organizational, technological and cultural change processes and growth phases, and have the range of methods required for this challenging task. As an assertive practitioner with a high level of self-motivation and cultural sensitivity, you are specifically looking for an environment with creative demands and can operate confidently in a local and globally operating group of companies. Your leadership behavior and communication are exemplary; you are a motivator, coach and sparring partner for your employees and managers.
