- Develope customer and supplier relationships in international raw materials trading with a focus on (technical) ceramics and related high-performance minerals
- Acquire new customers and suppliers using your existing network
- Conduct market and competition analyses to identify new business potential
- Negotiate prices, delivery terms and framework agreements in collaboration with our global trading teams and management
- Support the strategic development of the product portfolio and global procurement sources
- Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events
- Degree in geosciences, engineering, business administration or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in international trade with chemical products, ceramics, raw materials or minerals (e.g. Dolomite, Feldspar or Kaolin)
- Confident use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP), MS Office 365 and CRM systems; ideally experience with specification databases or quality management tools
- Strong intercultural skills, proven negotiation expertise and willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Willingness to relocate to Essen (Germany) and excellent written and spoken English skills - additional language skills are an advantage
