We bring together the strongly growth-oriented areas of logistics, analytics, and data in our central Business Analytics & Data Solutions team at Rhenus Warehousing Solutions Germany. In an agile corporate organization, you will immerse yourself in this exciting environment and, together with your teammates, share responsibility for the development of our Data Lakehouse platform in the Microsoft Cloud and make a significant contribution to our transformation into a data-driven company. Above all, the handling of big data has a significant influence on our daily activities and presents us with many exciting challenges.
- You create data models from data of our central and operational management systems, ensuring the quality and performance of the models and monitoring them.
- You coordinate the requirements with our internal customers, identify needs, make solution- and visualization-recommendations and create a solution concept on this basis.
- Based on the data models, you develop reports with MS Power BI and train data experts from the BI community we have created and managing.
- You prepare, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data, ensure the quality of complex analyses, work with the team to derive recommendations for action and communicate results to our stakeholders.
- We see the expansion of our know-how as an integral part of our work, which is why we focus on continuous exchange within the team, learning phases during working hours, and a selection of training opportunities developed specifically for our team.
- You have a degree in a STEM subject or professional experience in data & analytics. Good English and German language skills are required.
- You have experience in modelling, analyzing and visualizing data with Microsoft Power BI. Practical experience in a cloud-based data processing platform (e.g. Databricks or Snowflake) and knowledge of SQL, Python and Spark are an advantage.
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge and celebrating successes together as a team.
- You are not afraid to actively approach colleagues and internal customers to discuss requirements and present solutions.
- You make use of your mature understanding of (logistic) processes and IT and can distinguish yourself through a solution-oriented, self-organized way of working.
