Your role

ZEISS Consumer Markets is seeking a strategic, innovative, and creative leader in change management and internal communication to drive cultural transformation and elevate employee engagement. In this pivotal role, you will lead critical change initiatives and develop impactful communication strategies for one of our newly established business transformation projects, while also supporting the broader change and communication agenda across our segment.

You'll design and deliver people-centered change and communication strategies that translate strategic goals into clear, actionable plans. Through compelling narratives and engaging experiences, you will help employees understand, embrace, and sustain change.

Success in this role requires exceptional execution skills and out-of-the-box thinking, combined with strong collaboration with senior leaders, project teams, and HR partners. You'll ensure change is human-centered, clearly communicated, and deeply embedded in day-to-day work. Your expertise in change management, stakeholder engagement, and change communication will enable you to effectively reach diverse, international, and multi-level audiences.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed change management and communication strategy for a large program, ensuring comprehensive stakeholder involvement and adoption plans.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across various functions and hierarchy levels to identify and coordinate necessary change initiatives.
  • Craft and implement tailored communication plans, campaigns, and materials for diverse audiences using multiple formats and channels.
  • Formulate internal communication strategies that connect with employees across different generations, fostering inclusive and meaningful engagement.
  • Design communication campaigns that promote collaboration and continuous learning, leveraging digital platforms, social media, and emerging technologies.
  • Assess the effectiveness of change management and communication activities, gather feedback, and adjust strategies as necessary, while providing regular updates on progress and challenges.

  • Senior professional with extensive experience in global, matrix, large-size organizations leading and/or supporting culture transformation and organizational change.

  • Clear proven expertise in multi-level global senior stakeholder management, having worked with global senior executives guiding, coaching, and advising them on company-restricted communication processes related to organizational and cultural change.

  • Broad and deep experience in change management, cultural transformation, internal communications, or employee engagement within large-scale international organizations.

  • Collaboration expertise with Works Councils advantageous.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with attention to detail and proficiency in PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated leadership at manager-level on a global scale.

  • Effective relationship-building skills, capable of engaging with international senior stakeholders and navigating cultural differences, as well as familiarity and exposure to German work culture.

  • Proficient in English and German with strong writing and speaking abilities.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally and to be onsite in Aalen multiple days per week.
