Around 3,000 employees are assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations in addition to the terminal activities.
As part of our Strategic Controlling department, you will lead the Committee Reporting of Hapag-Lloyd AG. In this context, you are primarily responsible for the reporting to the Supervisory Board as well as the Audit and Financial Committee of Hapag-Lloyd AG. The work within the committee reporting is highly dynamic and offers a strong exposure to the strategic decision making of the company. In this position, you will work closely with our Executive Board, the senior management, and selected Supervisory Board members.   • Responsibility for the reporting to the Supervisory Board as well as the Audit and Financial Committee of Hapag-Lloyd AG, including the preparation of the respective meetings and quarterly result reporting

  • Preparation of financial reporting for other committees such as the executive committee (ExCom) and worker's council related committees

  • Coordination and further development of the quarterly competitor analysis for the Liner Shipping and the Terminal & Infrastructure segment

  • Responsibility for the monthly reporting on strategy implementation as well as further development of reporting processes

  • Preparation of ad-hoc analyses and presentations for the Executive Board (especially the CFO) and senior management

  • Responsibility for and participation in internal projects with the goal of further developing controlling and the management reporting (particularly digitalization and further standardization) of Hapag-Lloyd AG

  • Lead and support the personnel development and coaching of the Committee Reporting team

  • Completed university degree, e.g., in business, logistics, engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable subject

  • Relevant practical experience of 4 or more years in management consulting, investor relations, or (strategic) controlling, ideally with first leadership experience of small teams

  • Independent and goal-oriented working style with a high level of commitment and flexibility

  • Excellent communication skills towards the executive and supervisory board and the senior management as well as strong practical experience in presenting information tailored to different audiences

  • Strong team player in a dynamic and cross-functional work environment

  • Excellent analytical skills and high affinity for numbers and data

  • Experienced user of MS Office tools (especially PowerPoint) and experience regarding BI software (e.g. Power BI)

  • Native German language proficiency in spoken and written form

  • Very good and proven English skills in spoken and written form
