As a strategic HR Business Partner for the company, you align HR initiatives with the aims and objectives of the organization. You are instrumental in building motivated teams and improving organizational performance by advocating the organization's objectives, values, and practices
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and central government regulations
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits, and keep them up-to-date
- Manage payroll and related reporting
- Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state, and central government regulations
- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently preferably in Manufacturing
- Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
- Design and implement employee retention strategies
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution
- Maintain HR systems and processes
- Conduct performance and salary reviews
- Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team
- Provide support to Heads of Departments, as needed on HR matters including but not limited to Staff Performance and Training
- Onboard and manage vendors. eg. L&D or Statutory Compliance, Payroll, etc.
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, labor relations or psychology, business, or a related area; relevant work experience may be a substitute
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and SAP
- Experience with human resources information systems (HRIS), such as Workday, Cloud HR, SmartRecruiters, etc.
- Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring, and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
- Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork
- Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning
- Proficiency in all statutory legislation and regulations and Indian Labor Law is a must
