Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d)

Cologne or Künzelsau (remote working partly possible)


Improvement of supplier quality:

  • Strategic quality assurance, review of Q requirements and auditing of suppliers
  • Carrying out internal product tests and inspections
  • Responsibility and assurance of delivery quality
  • Evaluation, monitoring and situational development of existing and potential new suppliers
  • Project-related quality planning and assurance
  • Ensuring process capability through product and process audits
  • Root cause analysis, evaluation and resolution of deviations with and at suppliers
  • Test equipment management

Strengthening the QA network within the group:

  • Exchange of QA-relevant information within the group of companies

Complaints management:

  • Collaboration in the development and maintenance of a group-wide and standardized complaints management system


  • You have a technical or skilled trade qualification (preferably from the metal, chemical or construction industry)
  • You professionally worked several years in the field of quality, primarily in supplier management, and acquired an in-depth knowledge of specific manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Having initial experience with SAP and further training as an auditor and/or a technician and/or relevant studies is desirable
  • You have initial experience in quality assurance
  • You are confident in handling MS Office programs
  • You are confident in English and German, both written and spoken
  • You enjoy working in a wide-ranging team across regions
  • You work proactively and responsibly with hands-on mentality and a pragmatic solution-oriented way of thinking
  • You are willing to visit our suppliers on site (approx. 30–40%) and ideally hold a driver's license
