As Area Sales Manager – Distribution Partners EMEA (f/m/x), you will play a key role in driving business performance, expanding market presence, and supporting our distributors across assigned EMEA countries. You will also lead and coordinate all central charity organization projects within the region. This position combines strategic planning with operational execution and requires a strong business mindset, technical understanding, and interpersonal skills to build lasting partnerships.

  • carry the Area Sales Manager responsibilities for assigned EMEA Distribution countries and all central charity organization projects in the region

  • act as the Refractive Expert within the EMEA Distribution Partners team, supporting product positioning, training, and knowledge transfer

  • develop, implement, and execute sales and business strategies in alignment with the Head of Distribution Partners

  • establish and implement an effective sales plan and systematic market expansion initiatives

  • build, expand, and qualify the distribution network to ensure sustainable growth and service excellence

  • analyze market dynamics and define sales promotion measures to strengthen competitiveness

  • cultivate strong relationships with distributors, clients, and KOLs, driving brand visibility and advocacy in the region

  • participate in the identification, selection, and evaluation of new and existing distribution partners through structured annual assessments

  • collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Service, Regulatory, etc.) and external organizations to facilitate smooth business operations

  • conduct sales activities, negotiate pricing and discount structures in consultation with the Head of Distribution Partners

  • manage and develop sales and support personnel, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives

  • review and monitor the progress and performance of sales roles and regional distributors

  • accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenues to support financial and operational planning

  • formulate, communicate, and oversee sales policies, practices, and procedures to ensure consistent market execution


  • university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field

  • several years of relevant experience in medical equipment sales, preferably within the ophthalmic field

  • proven track record in developing and executing marketing and sales strategies

  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret sales performance and market trends

  • demonstrated ability to motivate and drive distributors and business partners

  • excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills

  • high learning agility and the ability to navigate complex business challenges

  • fluency in English (additional languages such as Arabic or French are an advantage)

  • willingness to travel regionally and internationally up to 50% of the time
