Our department enables the customer to have the best charging with the integration of our AC and DC charging systems into EV and Plug-In vehicles. We ensure seamless interaction with on- and off-board functions and make the charging process convenient and reliable. Our charging systems are connected by modern wallboxes in Mercedes-Benz design, charging connection cables and charging interfaces in accordance with international standards. Our development process includes the definition of the entire charging system with infrastructure requirements, standards, charging profiles, charging services and HMI requirements. High-performance charging and integration while advancing cost, weight and installation space.

In the current, prominent CLA with EQ technology, our highly integrated HV-component charges the HV- and LV-battery. For our laboratory on-site in Sindelfingen, we are searching for a working student who supports in the lab.

These are the challenges you will face:

  • Checking the functionality of HV-laboratory equipment

  • Supporting in changing of samples inside of the test bench

  • Coordination of test bench maintenance and the test bench booking system

  • Building of special test setups for specific tests

  • Supporting the execution of test-cases on vehicle level

  • Supporting the test bench sample logistics

The activity can begin from February 2026.


  • Course of study in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, economics or similar

  • Fluent written and spoken German (min. C1)

  • Fluent written and spoken English (min. B2)

  • Commitment and ability to work in a team

  • Enthusiasm for electromobility

  • Ideally, experience with soldering and PCB design

  • Ideally, experience with building small mechatronic parts

  • Organizational skills

  • Driving license class B
