Your Challenge
- We want to strengthen our chemical Analysis team in Hamburg with a dedicated Scientist for method developments / Food chemist with GC x GC and LC-ToF-expertise (m/f/d) for implementation of contaminant (e.g. mineral oil residues) and pesticide residue analysis in several matrices using state-of-the-art instruments.
- In your role you will directly report to Lead of European Corporate Analytical.
We would like you to join our team at our brand new Research and Development Center in Hamburg.
- Development of analytical methods; preferably GC x GC and LC-ToF-MS methods
- Development of sample preparation techniques
- Validations according to international standards
- Drafting of standard operation procedures
- Communication with adjacent departments (Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Operations) and research management functions
- Cooperation within global analytical and R&D-projects
- Analytical support for R&D projects
- Food law assessments
- High safety and health consciousness
- Master/PhD degree in chemistry (food chemistry, natural products, analytical chemistry) or similar
- At least 5 years of professional experience in this field
- Experience in various analytical techniques; preferably GC x GC and LC-ToF-MS methods
- Experienced in the field of contaminants/ agricultural residue analysis
- Fluent German and English language skills, written and spoken
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to travel in the region (< 10 %)
