The global procurement and import department, as part of the central GC procurement departments, supplies over 250 companies in Germany as well as 14 other countries with high-quality products, independence, transparency, product availability, and high returns.

We are looking for a dynamic, multilingual International Key Account and Global Import Manager who understands both the global landscape and the local market realities. This position bridges international trade, supplier management, and customer success ensuring that global sourcing translates into local value. International Key Account and Global Import Manager (m/f/x)
Location Remote
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the GC-Corporate countries in Europe
- Understand local customer needs and translate them into tailored supply chain and product solutions
- Manage and optimize end-to-end import processes (global sourcing markets)
- Coordinate between the GC-Corporate countries and the offices in the sourcing countries corresponding Import projects, quality, pricing, and lead times.
- Coordinate and oversee logistics, support customs clearance, and documentation in collaboration with local responsible and freight forwarders
- Coordinate with internal departments (Back Office, logistics, finance, quality control) to ensure high service levels
- Act as the main point of contact for both, operational and business-development levels
- Identify new market opportunities, trends, and competitive advantages
- Develop strategies to expand Local product portfolio
- Support management in scaling up international business and exploring new regions
- Participate in International and local meetings
- 5+ years of professional experience in international procurement/ global import and/or sales
- Strong understanding of project management on the procurement side
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills
- Strong solution-oriented mindset and familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Fluent in English (German not essential and European languages are a plus)
- Entrepreneurial thinker with a structured and disciplined approach
- Willingness to travel internationally and manage relationships on-site
- Curious, hands-on, and comfortable in cross-cultural environments
