ISCC – International Sustainability and Carbon Certification is a globally applicable and leading certification system designed to enhance traceable, sustainable, deforestation-free, and climate-friendly supply chains. ISCC certifications are widely recognised and cover sustainable agricultural biomass, biogenic wastes and residues, non-biological renewable materials and recycled carbon-based materials. The development and implementation of different certification standards is ISCC's tool to promote its mission to mitigate climate change and bring more traceability into global markets and supply chains. To date, ISCC holds more than 11,300 valid certificates in 129 countries.

  • Full responsibility for payroll coordination in Germany and internationally (collaboration with external payroll providers; review and approval of payroll runs).
  • Development, maintenance, and communication of Compensation & Benefits programs (including company pension schemes, mobility benefits, international perks).
  • Advising and supporting international employees on matters of German labor, tax, and social security law (e.g., onboarding, contract-related questions).
  • Correspondence with public authorities (e.g., social insurance agencies, tax offices, immigration authorities) and communication with external service providers.
  • Creation, maintenance, and standardization of HR documents and guidelines (e.g., onboarding checklists, process SOPs).
  • Lead administration of the HR Knowledge Management Platform (Jira) — structure, templates, access control, documentation quality, and reporting.
  • Participation in (digital) HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance and process reliability across all administrative HR operations.
  • Preparation of reports, analyses, and KPIs for management and finance.


  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a comparable field of study.
  • Several years of professional experience in HR, ideally with a focus on payroll, compensation & benefits, and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of German labor, tax, and social security law.
  • Experience supporting international employees and collaborating with global teams.
  • A structured, reliable, and solution-oriented working style with a high level of ownership.
  • Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., Personio) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Interest in sustainability, digitalization, and the ongoing development of modern HR structures.
