For our Group Human Resources Department, we are seeking to recruit a (Senior) Workday Compensation Expert (f/m/d).
Your role serves as a bridge between strategic compensation expertise and the technical implementation within Workday, our global HRIS platform. As the global product owner for the Compensation and Goals modules, you will oversee the configuration and related processes across more than 50 countries.
This position is centered on strengthening our capabilities in strategically important areas across the Group and offers a highly international, cross-functional environment. It requires close alignment with the strategic priorities of the Compensation & Benefits team, as well as ongoing collaboration with our dedicated Workday team to continuously enhance our system landscape.
You will work closely with stakeholders from Group, Area, and Country HR to ensure a balanced approach - one that maintains compliance with global standards while also accommodating local requirements. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our global compensation framework and contribute meaningfully to our digital HR transformation in a dynamic and international setting.
This position is located in Heidelberg. You will directly report to the position Head of Compensation & Benefits.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
- Prepare, manage, and run our annual global compensation processes (compensation review and bonus payout process) as well as annual goal management processes in Workday, including communication and training for our global compensation community and intensive process support.
- Maintain a strong understanding of strategic priorities in C&B as well as our Workday implementation journey to align initiatives accordingly.
- Review and implement new Workday features with strong focus on automation and optimized user experience.
- Drive enhancements in our Workday compensation and goals modules with support of internal technical application specialists and external consultants.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from Group, Area and Country HR as well as external consultants to understand our diverse local setups, translate them into Workday requirements, and assess feasibility against our global standards.
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Applied Computer Sciences, or a related field.
- 3+ years professional experience in an HR environment (preferably Compensation & Benefits or HR Technology), from a relevant consulting role or corporate function.
- Proficiency and hands-on experience with a HRIS platform, specifically Workday experience would be an advantage.
- Very good understanding of compensation concepts/frameworks, HR processes and digitalization in HR.
- Proven ability to manage complex customer/stakeholder landscapes and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Analytical, tech-savvy and data-driven mindset with attention to detail and process optimization.
- Excellent communication skills in a highly international and multicultural context.
- Fluent in English (fluency in German is an asset).
